Privacy Policy — KAMO
This policy describes how Bliss Coach ("we") handles your information in KAMO and on this website. It applies to the KAMO iOS application.
What we collect
- No account, no sign-in. KAMO has no registration and no login. We do not ask for your name, email, or any other identifier, and we hold no user profile for you.
- Camera and photos: processed on your device. The camera frame you paint on, and the painting itself, stay on your phone. We never receive your camera feed or your photo library.
- Challenges you send: the finished image leaves your device. A challenge is a link that lets someone else try to find the figure you hid, in their browser, without installing anything — which means the finished image has to be hosted. When, and only when, you open the share sheet to send a hide, we upload that image along with the figure's position (needed to tell a correct guess from a wrong one), your round time and your coverage. Finishing a round, painting, or saving to your photo library uploads nothing. The image is stored by our hosting provider, Supabase, in the United States, and is reachable by anyone who has the link: the link carries a random 16-character identifier and is neither listed nor indexed, but it is not password-protected, so treat sending a challenge the way you would treat sending the photo itself. Challenges and their images are deleted automatically 30 days after they are created. Every challenge page carries a Report link, and a reported challenge is taken down once several people have flagged it; you can also write to us with the link to have one removed sooner.
- Usage and diagnostics: feature usage events, crash reports, and device information, used to fix bugs and improve the app.
- Advertising and attribution: if you allow tracking when iOS asks, we and our attribution partners (AppsFlyer, TikTok, Meta) may use your device's advertising identifier to measure which ad or shared link led to your install, and how the app is used afterwards. If you decline, attribution falls back to Apple's privacy-preserving measurement and no advertising identifier is used.
- Subscription status: managed by Apple and our subscription infrastructure (RevenueCat). We never see or store your payment card details.
How we use it
To run the app, fix crashes, understand which features people actually use, measure the effect of our advertising, and manage subscriptions. There is no AI model in KAMO. The only server-side handling of an image is storing and serving a challenge you chose to send, so the person you sent it to can play it.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the app: analytics (Amplitude), crash reporting (Sentry), attribution and advertising measurement (AppsFlyer, TikTok, Meta), subscription management (RevenueCat), and hosting for challenges (Supabase), under their respective data-processing terms. Of these, only Supabase ever holds an image, and only for a challenge you chose to send. We do not sell your personal data.
Retention & deletion
There is no account, so there is no profile to delete. Photos you do not send as a challenge live only on your device, and deleting the app removes them. A challenge you did send is deleted automatically — image included — 30 days after it was created, and we will delete one sooner on request: send us the link. You can turn off advertising tracking at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. To ask what diagnostic or attribution data is associated with your device, or to have it erased, contact us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or erase your data. Contact us to exercise them.
